Milistrations is art I’ve created through my love of the military. Much of my inspiration in life came from the legacy of Americans, and the military has been a large part of that. The men and women I looked up to, those I served with, the machines, weapons and gear used, and the American way of life that is so dangerously awesome. Now I have a special place in my heart for the Air Force having been a maintenance officer for B-1 Bombers out of Dyess AFB, but I also served with the Army, Navy and Marines in Afghanistan as a battle captain, and I am fully appreciative of all aspects of the military.
I went through ROTC and majored in Studio Art, so not really the typical combination for any servicemember, but I used my design skills to bring teams together. Although I decided to leave the military, my experience and love for the people and equipment will never cease…nor will my love for the spirit of America; rugged, self-sufficient individualism combined with the freely chosen will to serve each other. That’s what makes us who we are, and that’s what I believe the military represents best.
This is a huge work in process that will never seem complete, as it’s just an extension of me…and there is always room for improvement. Thanks for visiting the site, I hope you enjoy my work.
